On Saturday 16 April 2022, on a gloriously sunny day, GoParksLondon teamed up with CPRE London and the East London Garden Society to walk the Great Eastern Parks Route.

Led by East London Garden Society chair Geoff Juden, walkers took in a route that covered many parks and waterways, ranging from the Thames to the south, to Victoria Park to the north, and many points in between.

Walkers were treated to a tour of a grade I listed church in beautiful grounds, and a tour of a Tower Hamlets park, from a member of a newly-formed friends group.
