Children have been staying away from our parks and green spaces during the Covid pandemic. The finding comes from an online study of 8 to 15 year olds for Natural England. While this age group care for nature, they have become cut off from it, raising concerns for their physical and mental health. It's not clear whether fear of the virus or an increase in older park users has caused this displacement.
