You will find lots of activities in the park, ranging from tennis courts, to cricket nets, to bowls. There is a splendid cafe at the heart of the park right by the lake. The park is a wonderful mix of green space and leisure. You can wander through the American Garden and admire the rhododendrons in May, or follow a tree trial to spot the unusual trees. Don't miss the giant Turkey Oak next to the old tennis courts. On a sunny day the most popular thing is to bring a picnic and chill on one of the many lawns.
