A safe and pleasant place to visit. The pond is home to several Mallard, Canadian Geese and Moorhen families. The concept is to leave the Reserve as naturally looking as possible. Muntjac deer and Foxes can often be seen if the Reserve remains quiet enough. Plenty of seats are located at various points, as are bins for rubbish. The site is kept clean and maintained by a small group of volunteers. This year we should receive our tenth Green Flag Community Award. (We must be doing something right).
