62 acres of grassland meadows and mixed and semi-ancient woodland is set amongst the suburbs of Bickley and Petts Wood. In June the meadows are blanketed in flowering corky-fruited water dropwort, and a month later in knapweeed. A number of small ponds are the home for frogs, toads and newts, including the great-crested newt. It is is a haven for many species of birds and wild-life. There are a number of paths and walks - and illustrated information boards telling the history and biodiversity of the park. It has three free car-parks (access from Bickley and Petts Wood) and a dog-free picnic area and is on the London Loop footpath.
