Littleheath Woods is situated 3 miles south east of Croydon in Selsdon. There are 13 different entrances with on street parking and it is easily accessible by 2 bus services. The 25 hectares (61 acres) include a variety of habitats from woodland to grassland, soils from chalk to clay and from sand to Blackheath Pebbles, as well as wet areas and seasonal ponds. All are set amongst a network of narrow paths and wide rides which meander through the woodland taking in the highest point at 161m above sea level to the lowest 125m.
