The park has something for everyone as it is made up of a beautiful and mysterious wood next to open playing fields.The ancient Woodland includes oaks and hornbeam and was traditionally managed by coppicing. There are a wide variety of birds, insects, bats and funghi. There are several streams and a seasonal pond.
