West Ham Park is a privately owned public park in West Ham in the London Borough of Newham. Spanning 77 acres (31 ha), it is the largest park in the borough. The park has been managed by the City of London Corporation since 1874. It serves a multi-cultural local population, is open every day of the year and is carefully maintained by a dedicated team of park keepers and gardeners. Visitors feel welcome and safe in a park that is ranked as the most popular in East London.West Ham Park offers a wide range of facilities. There is a large supervised children's playground, a wildlife education garden, ponds, bandstand, sports facilities and ornamental gardens. This green space is a Registered Charity and they rely on the generous donations of visitors, corporate partners and those who have a connection with green spaces to help us to keep them accessible for public recreation, conservation and health.
